Tips for Using Job and Career Sites Safely

Online job boards and tools can be really helpful, but it’s important to stay safe and make informed choices.

  • Be cautious about sharing personal information such as your address, ID or bank details.
  • Real employers will not ask you to pay money up-front to “secure” a job.
  • If something feels off, you can talk it through with a trusted adult or contact PAAN for support.
